Cobb Theatres, who presently operates 18 locations with 232 screens, is a cinema chain based in Birmingham, Alabama. The majority of Cobb Theatres' currently operating cinemas are in Florida, with others in Alabama, Virginia, and Colorado plus a new location under construction in Georgia.
The company was established in 1921 in Alabama, expanding through the South, and buying out General Cinema and Wometco Theatres. It was bought by Regal Entertainment Group in 1997. The new Cobb Theatres was established in 2000.
